Grammy Nominated Rapper Yukmouth Set To Release New Album Entitled “Free At Last” June 1, 2010
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 17, 2010) The highly anticipated sixth solo effort from the Bay Area’s own prized possession, Yukmouth is set and ready for release June 1, 2010. The new album “Free At Last” offers multiple features from Hip-Hop’s finest, Mistah F.A.B., Jay Rock,  2Eleven, Tity Boi (Playaz Circle), Country Black, Beeda Weeda, Richie Rich, London, Curren$y, Ya Boy, Roccett,  Shady Nate, Lee Majors, Lil Hyfe, Young Money’s Gudda Gudda and more.

Following up from last year’s rap effort “The West Coast Don,” Yukmouth hit the viral masses with a successful  first single from the “Free At Last” album entitled “211” featuring the windy city’s heavyweights, L.E.P./Bogus Boys (View Video Here:http://www.smokealotrecords.com/news.html) Songs like “The Hard Way” featuring Jannine V and “The Life” featuring Ya Boy, Jay Rock and London are slated to heat up radio airwaves.   Loyal to his Bay Area roots artists such as Kafani, C-Bo, Philthy Rich, Chop Black, Agerman, Stevie Joe, Dru Down as well as The Regime show up and stand up on “Free At Last.”

When Yukmouth’s popular marijuana anthem, “I Got 5 On It,” hit the billboard charts and certified him a platinum selling artist, as one-half of rap duo The Luniz; the entrepreneur knew there was no turning back. Yukmouth knew then he had already accomplished more than many would and continues now in 2010.

1998 marked the release of the Oakland, California, pair’s sophomore effort, Lunitik Muzik, which spawned the Raphael Saadiq assisted “Jus Mee & U,” and “Hypnotize,” a duet with Redman. Shortly thereafter, Yuk split from Luniz partner Numskull, and launched his Smoke-A-Lot imprint via J Prince’s Rap-A-Lot Records. Immediately to follow “Thugged Out: The Albulation”, introduced his ground-breaking double CD and self-proclaimed “Worldwide Mobb Figga’s” first solo outing, selling over 500,000 units, and garnering favorable reviews from both critics, loyal fans while gained new fans simultaneously.
